This product is internet based and an easy way of checking that a piece of electronic artwork is correct and provides job ticketing and routing for the copy through to RBI's Transport titles (Commercial Motor, Motor Transport, Truck, Truck and Driver).
To use RBI Check-n-Send there is a one off process of downloading a plug-in, which installs an icon onto the users desktop. Files are simply dragged to the Icon where the user is then asked to confirm the magazine and ad type (Display or Classified). The ad type is then pre-flight checked. Once the preflight report has been accepted a job ticket will appear to be filled in, and then routed direct to the appropriate journal.

Acceptable Formats
- PDF: Artwork should be supplied as a PDF. J Jays Limited, our prepress supplier offers an advice service. Acrobat Distiller Job options can be downloaded from their web site at: www.jjays.com. Select the Services button for access to Digital File Information and PDF File Creation
- EPS: Alternatively we will accept an Encapsulated Postscript File (EPS). All the font information must be embedded in the file. The file must be set for Process Colour (CMYK not RGB) with a preview and saved in Mac Binary format without crop marks. Digital artwork must be produced at 100% size

Notes
- All sizes shown as depth and width
- ALL live matter MUST be positioned 5mm in from ALL trim edges per page including gutter, due to perfect binding (Live matter area 287mm deep x 213mm wide).
- Page Bleed adverts will have 3mm trimmed off ALL edges.
- Double Page Spread Bleed adverts will have 3mm trimmed off ALL outer edges only.
